About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Leidy is an award-winning architect who lives in Columbus, Ohio. As an active member of the American Institute of Architects, she currently serves on the Center for Architecture and Design (CFAD) board and the ARCHway mentoring program.
Elizabeth began her career in Ohio, and after completing a Bachelor's degree in architecture, she moved to Boston, where she won first place as the Rotch Scholar. This scholarship delivered a stipend for one year of paid travel to research marketplaces in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Rome, and Istanbul. Traversing the globe and absorbing design, culture, and food greatly impacted her career. Elizabeth later returned to study in the UK, earning a Master of Architecture degree from the Architectural Association. While living in London, she gained professional experience working for Martha Schwartz, a top landscape architect, and Thomas Heatherwick, a prized designer and inventor.
Elizabeth is excited to bring her talents to Columbus. She teaches interior architecture at the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) and previously taught architecture at the Ohio State University and the Boston Architectural College.
